What do the sensors do?

Your PHLYSENSE sensors will detect issues such as water leaks and temperature changes that can damage your systems or disrupt your day-to-day operations. If a problem is detected, you'll be alerted with a SMS text, phone call or email.

How do I activate my sensors?

Login to your MyPHLY account to view the "How to Activate my Sensors" video, or download the Meshify Protect app to your smartphone and follow the instructions. See below for an overview:

  • Before you activate your sensors, be sure you're at the location where you want to place your sensor.
  • Next, remove the battery cover from the sensor and pull the battery tab. Once the sensor has been connected, the LED light will turn green accompanied by a tone. Replace the cover and place the sensor in its location (refer to video for help).

If you have issues registering your email address in the app or in the portal, you can also activate the sensor using the activation code located inside the lid of the sensor box. The code may be 5-7 characters long.

Open the app or visit the portal. Next, select the option to Use Code. Enter the activation code and the zip code of where the sensor will be placed. Follow the instructions.

Where should I place my sensors?

  • Avoid placing your sensors in areas with heavy foot traffic
  • Place sensors on the floor where water leaks may occur such as near sump pumps or water heaters, in bathrooms, or under sinks, or
  • Place sensors in temperature-controlled rooms where building systems can be monitored for freezing or heating conditions
